An organization scan evaluates the overall health and efficiency of the organization. This includes analyzing structure, processes, culture, and performance. Information is gathered through interviews, documentation, and data analysis.
The goal is to identify strengths and improve weaknesses. This involves examining leadership, marketing communication, human resources policies, operational processes within marketing sales, and customer relationships. All these insights are compiled into a document called: Journey to Smarketing.
During the week of the scan, we conduct a thorough evaluation of the organization to gain an in-depth understanding of its operations and performance. Here is a bullet-point description of what happens during this week:

Preparation: We start by scheduling the period during which we will conduct the organization scan.

Data collection: We gather relevant data, such as documentation, reports, and other internal information about the organization.

Interviews: We conduct interviews with key stakeholders within the organization, including leaders, marketing and sales teams, and customers, to gather diverse perspectives and insights.
Process analysis: We analyze the operational processes within the organization to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.

Performance assessment: We review the performance indicators and measure the performance of the Sales and Marketing organization against the established goals.

Reporting: We prepare a detailed report with findings, recommendations, and action points based on the collected data and analyses. This report is called Journey to Smarketing.
