During a Friday afternoon gathering, they reflect on the journey they’ve taken. “I’m actually pretty proud,” says Suzanne, looking a bit awkwardly at her glass. Mart nods in agreement, pauses for a moment, and then laughs, “Well, I certainly am! What an amazing journey this has been!” His enthusiasm is contagious, and Suzanne stands up, raising her glass high in the air. She pulls Mart up, and as they stand facing each other with raised glasses, Suzanne exclaims, “To smarketing!”
“To smarketing!” Mart responds affirmatively. She doesn’t care that the whole terrace is looking at them. The rest of the afternoon, they reminisce about how it all started a few months ago with mutual frustrations. They never dared to dream that their departments would now work together like a well-oiled machine, achieving such fantastic results. They have every reason to be proud!
Mike, the company director, is also pleased with the situation. He regularly expresses his appreciation to both teams and is fully convinced of the power of smarketing.
